Abbey Farm is home to a plethora of wildlife which is increasing in numbers.  By retaining hedges and planting new woodlands, spinneys and hedges we have been able to provide excellent habitats to encourage this increase.

Hedges are being laid in a traditional manner to ensure the base line environment is suitable for the baseline of the food chains.

Lapwings, pheasant and wild English Partridge, Oyster catchers are seen frequently at Abbey Farm alongside some fantastic sightings of deer, kingfishers and woodpeckers!

Wetlands are also on the farm and attract a range of wild ducks, swans, geese and some migrating wet land birds.
